Short Description
These sun-loving, not capricious, thorny plants have their permanent place in our lives, especially near our computers. The species are diverse, they reach huge sizes in nature, they also grow at home, of course not very quickly, depending on the species. They regularly make us happy with their non-drowsy flowering.
Since the plant contains a large amount of water, it cannot be watered often, once in 7 days in summer and once in 15 days in winter. They reproduce vegetatively, possibly also by seeds. Replanting is necessary when the plant fills the container. Fertilize once a month, twice during the growing season. For best flowering, the plant should overwinter in relatively cool conditions, not much above 20 C.
